An intimate tasting experience led by three acclaimed winemakers, each shaping the island’s evolving identity through patience, precision, and place.

For the first time at the Taste, pioneering producers — Aunt Alice Wines, Glaetzer-Dixon Family Winemakers, and Rivulet Wines — bring their winemaking philosophies to our table, revealing what makes our island one of the world’s most exciting regions for wine. From pure expressions of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay to mineral-laced Rieslings born of slow ripening and southern soil, every glass tells a story of Tasmania’s unique winemaking climate.

The Smokeyard

The only smokers you’ll find at the Taste. In the Forecourt, four pitmasters roll in with Texan-inspired smoker trailers for a true barbecue spectacle. Expect low-and-slow favourites, rich with smoke, spice and southern soul.

Featuring Halls Barbeque, Bruny Island Beer & BBQ, Smokehouse by the Bay, and Stábla — dishing up everything from 20-hour brisket, whisky & peach glazed pork lollipops to smoked venison and hot honey mushrooms.
