Golden Ticket
Your ultimate Taste experience. This all-access premium pass includes unlimited entry to the Taste and the VIP Yacht Club across all eight days, plus a ticket to the NYE Party.
NYE Party
Ring in the new year on the waterfront with a huge lineup of live music, DJs, delicious food and drinks, and the city’s best view of the fireworks. Your ticket grants entry to the NYE Party from 6pm–1:30am.
Taste Pass
Savour it all. This pass grants you entry across every day of the festival, so you can experience the best of the island’s food, drink and entertainment across all eight days, excluding the NYE Party.
Day Pass
Choose your day with this flexible pass, which grants you entry for any one day of your choice.
Please note: Taste entry is free on Wednesday 31 December for the City of HobartCommunity Day, so no day entry ticket is required for this date.
The Tasman Yacht Club Entry
Go on, treat yourself with an entry to Taste’s premium waterfront Yacht Club. Enjoy exclusive access to a private seating area and bar, with Yacht Club Entry available in ticketed five-hour sessions. Select your preferred time at checkout with any Day Pass. Please note: Yacht Club is not available during the NYE Party.
Kids Entry
Entry to the Taste is free for children aged 15 and under, when accompanied by a parent or guardian. Free entry does not include the Yacht Club — entry for the Yacht Club must be purchased online or at the door (subject to capacity).
Entry to the New Year’s Eve Party is free for children aged 6 and under. All others require a ticket.
Free entry on Wednesday 31 December from 12-4pm, in partnership with the City of Hobart. Gates reopen at 6pm for our ticketed New Year’s Eve event.

Companion Card
The Taste of Summer accepts one companion per ticket holder on presentation of a Companion Card. Please email our ticketing provider at info@oztix.com.au for more information or to pre organise your companion card ticket.
Info Booth
The Taste of Summer Information Booth is located out the front of the Taste, as well as inside the entryway once you arrive . If you need assistance or have any questions or concerns, our friendly staff are here to help.
Accessible Toilets
There are four accessible toilets available at the Taste of Summer:
Two are located at the front of the PW1 shed (near the entrance), one is located at the back of the PW1 shed, and one is located outside near the Clover Hill Atrium.
Wheelchair Accessibility
The event site is fully wheelchair accessible. All areas of the site are accessible by structured walkways or ramps. Guests using a motorised wheelchair or mobility scooter can find power outlets at the event site if emergency charging is needed. These power outlets are limited and we ask that guests please remain with the motorised device at all times. Guests requiring assistance can find a staff member at the information booth, located at the main entryway.
Complimentary Wheelchairs
Wheelchairs will be available onsite for complimentary use at Tasmania’s Taste of Summer. Please visit the Information Booth upon arrival for further information.
Accessible Parking
Accessible parking is managed by Hobart City Council and will be available in the Murray Street car park and within Salamanca Place at the Abel Tasman car park.
Accessible Seating
Accessible seating is available at the Taste of Summer. There will be specific tables and chairs available throughout site to assist patrons with limited mobility and wheelchairs. Tables will be noted on site maps and clearly signed.
Guide Dogs and Service Animals
In accordance with the Disability Discrimination Act 1992, people with disability and their service animals that are trained to do work or perform tasks for the benefit of the individual with the disability are welcome at the Taste of Summer. Service animals must always remain on a lead, and we ask that you please clean-up after your Service Animals and dispose of waste in the appropriate bins located onsite. Dog water bowls will be located throughout the site to keep your dog hydrated. Please visit the Information Booth for the exact locations.

We’re a cashless event, so make sure to bring your card along.

When possible, we recommend you walk, bike, take public transport or coordinate transportation with other attendees.
Bike: Ride your bike to the Taste and use the bike parking infrastructure provided in the Morrison St car park.
Bus: For public transport options please check the Metro Tasmania Trip planner. The nearest bus stop is Hobart Interchange, Macquarie St, Stop D2.
E-Scooters: Beam purple e-scooters are available throughout Hobart. You’ll need your phone to connect to the app to ride. Scooters are not permitted to be taken into the Taste, so please use the designated scooter parking areas to help keep footpaths clear.
Parking: For the duration of the Taste of Summer, the City of Hobart is offering free car parking at the Regatta Grounds, off McVilly Drive. For more car parks around the city see here. Accessible parking will be provided in close proximity to the event area at Abel Tasman car park of Salamanca Plan, and within the Murray Street car park.

Dogs and other pets are not permitted at Taste of Summer, with the exception of guide dogs and assistance animals.

There is no reserved or allocated seating at the Taste of Summer. There will be plenty of seating options available throughout the event site to accommodate everyone safely and comfortably. For a premium seating option, you can purchase a session at The Tasman Yacht Club.

The Taste of Summer is 100% smoke free and vape free. If you need to leave the site, pass outs will be available at the exit.

The Taste of Summer continues to be a leader in environmental event management. To create a positive collective impact, we invite you to help us to create a more sustainable event and continue to reduce our environmental footprint.
Here are some easy strategies:
Walk, cycle, carpool or catch a bus to the event.
Get familiar with our two-bin system for best practice waste disposal. All stalls serve their menu items in compostable cups, plates and other packaging which can all be disposed of in the compostable bins around the site, everything else should be recyclable.
Purchase a Taste reusable wine cup for $5 from all wine stalls and the Taste bars.
Bring your water bottle and fill up at the free water stations throughout the event and at the Taste bars.

The Taste of Summer is an all-weather event. It will go ahead, rain or shine — unless weather conditions become extreme or dangerous and pose a serious risk to safety. Please check the forecast, plan ahead, and dress accordingly.

In the event of a medical emergency during the event call 000. For minor medical attention, first aid providers are located near the exit of the site.

A parenting room will be available on Salamanca Lawns near the kids area, and additional change tables will be available in the accessible toilets in PW1.

The Taste of Summer is a licensed all-ages event. The purchase and consumption of alcohol is restricted to over-18s. Identification will be checked at the bars.
