Thank you for your interest in Tasmania's Taste of Summer. Held annually on the waterfront of Nipaluna/Hobart, our festival is a celebration of Tasmania's world-class food, drink, music, culture and community, welcoming tens of thousands of visitors each year. 

ABOUT THE FESTIVAL

Tasmania's Taste of Summer is proudly Tasmanian, sustainable and quality-driven, committed to showcasing the best seasonal produce from across the island. We champion diversity, ingenuity, and out-of-the-box thinking, working collaboratively with stallholders to create exceptional experiences. 

Our focus is on fresh Tasmanian seasonal produce, while welcoming diverse cultural cuisines. We encourage Tasmanian substitutes where possible, recognising that some essential ingredients may not be locally produced. 

Our Festival Curator Jo Cook works collaboratively with stallholders to craft offerings that benefit everyone—stallholders, patrons, local producers, and the Tasmanian economy.
